    Thermal printer won't print

    Follow

If the thermal printer does not print at all:

    Clear print buffer (Open-Close-Feed):

    • Press the button on the top of the printer to open the lid of the printer
    • Tap the feed button
    • Close the lid of the printer back up
    • This must be done in quick succession to be effective
    • After closing the lid, a receipt should print out that displays information about your printer

If you are a Galaxy client they may need to bounce the CFP process (CFP is a Galaxy print queue)

You may have a Serial-to-Ethernet adapter connected that was supplied and specially made from Galaxy that could have gone bad:

    • If this is the case, you may need to contact Galaxy and possibly get a new adapter or upgrade to an Ethernet module
    • You could also hook the printer up directly to the PC if you wish
